The beer is brewed in the same way as our alcoholic beers, but with a few tweaks to temperatures and quantities to minimise production of alcohol. Note on other additions: Maltodextrin is a non-sweet sugar which is unfermentable by yeast and adds body. Glycerol is an unfermentable bi-product of normal alcohol fermentation and contributes to the flavour profile and slickness of beer. As very little fermentation has occurred in the making of Lo-Fi, we’ve added extra glycerol to add these beer-like characteristics without the associated alcohol. This hazy, non-alcoholic beer might be inspired by the lo-fi beats we listen to when we want a chill one, but it contains nothing but the highest quality simcoe hops for big pine aromas & tropical fruit flavours.
